Brandy Brock

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) / EMDR-Trained Therapist for Trauma, Anxiety, and Couples Therapy

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and EMDR-trained, trauma-informed therapist providing virtual therapy throughout Texas for individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, infertility, postpartum transitions, parenting stress, and major life changes.

My passion for helping others began long before becoming a therapist. After earning my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston-Downtown, I spent several supporting children and families navigating foster care, crisis situations, and the lasting effects of trauma. Those experiences showed me just how deeply relationships, adversity, and life experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and connect with others (or disconnect from others). They also reinforced my belief that healing begins when people feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported.

I later earned my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University and completed my clinical training at Cy-Hope Counseling, where I provided therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Since becoming a licensed therapist, I have continued helping clients navigate life's challenges with compassion, curiosity, and practical support.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, first responders, and crime victims, giving me a broad understanding of how trauma, chronic stress, and life transitions affect both individuals and relationships. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that every person’s story deserves to be met with compassion, curiosity, and without judgement.

I believe that healing is not about becoming someone new, it is about rediscovering the strength, resilience, and worth that have been there all along. Whether you are facing personal challenges, relationship struggles, or life’s unexpected transitions, my hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel safe to heal, reconnect, and begin believing in yourself again.

My Approach

I view therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your life and experiences, while I provide guidance, perspective, and tools to help you navigate challenges and move toward your goals.

Because every person and relationship is unique, I tailor therapy to fit your needs rather than relying on a single approach. My work is grounded in attachment theory, trauma-informed, person-centered, and EMDR-informed practices. Together, we explore emotions, relationship patterns, and underlying experiences that may be influencing how you think, feel, and connect with others.

My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and empowered enough to move forward with confidence.

My Mission

I believe meaningful change happens when people feel seen, understood, and supported. My mission is to help individuals, couples, and families move beyond survival mode and create lives and relationships that feel more connected, intentional, and fulfilling.

Therapy is not about becoming someone different, it's about uncovering the strengths that already exist within you and creating space for growth, healing, and lasting change.

What I Help Clients Achieve

Many people seek therapy wanting more than symptom relief, they want healthier relationships, greater self-understanding, and a stronger sense of direction.

Whether we are working through anxiety, trauma, self-confidence, communication difficulties, relationship concerns, life transitions, infertility, postpartum adjustments, or family challenges, our work focuses on helping you strengthen emotional awareness, improve communication, build resilience, and create meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy room.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: healing grows through connection to yourself, to the people around you, and to the life you want to create.
